Dr. Mike was born and raised in the Fargo, North Dakota area. He graduated in 1991 from Iowa State with a degree in veterinary medicine. Since graduation, he has practiced medicine in various
locations across Illinois and Wisconsin. He is married to Dr. Denise Fortier, DVM. They share their lives with their children, horses, dogs, cats, and a couple chickens.
